Sacred Smoke Starter Kit

Hold charcoal safety in a pair of metal tongs.
Use a lighter, candle or torch to ignite the charcoal.
(You will see a spark that catches and lights charcoal.)
Check to see if the entire charcoal is lit.
If not, bring the flame to the areas not yet lit.

Wait for 1-3 minutes for the charcoal to fully ignite.
You will see a red glow beneath a layer of grey ash.
Now your charcoal is ready for sacred smoke!

Use your ceremonial spoon to add sacred smoke incense powder to your charcoal.
